Everything you need to get rid of and kill bedbugs.

Want to know how to Kill Bedbugs?

To kill bedbugs in your house you can spend quite a bit of money. Professional exterminators charge obscene amounts of money to get rid of bedbugs, but you can do-it-yourself. First of all, bedbugs usually come into a home in used furniture, a visiting relative's luggage or were there before you moved in. These tiny bugs are very small and usually only come out from hiding when you are fast asleep. They can smell the carbon dioxide you exhale as you sleep, find you and bite down to suck up your blood. A bad infestation means you will find bites all of you, your spouse and even your kids.

If you have the money, by all means hire a professional. Getting rid of these pests for good can take quite a bit of effort and time.

The first thing you need to do is get some good chemicals to combat these critters. Finding the right chemical to use however can be a daunting task. There are many products on the market that claim to do the job, but many are far inferior than others. Proper application is also essential in getting rid of them, You have to find out where they are hiding and apply the chemicals to those areas safely. They can usually be found on your mattress seams, behind baseboards, in small crevices in your furniture, even behind wall outlets. You will first want to do a full and complete examination of the room. Take your mattress and box spring out of the house, wash all linen, blankets, pillow cases and all your clothes and put in plastic bags or bins (leave none behind in the room). Vacuum your room. Get a good flashlight and begin hunting for these little bastards. You might be tempted to spray every inch of your room. This can be very dangerous so please make sure you follow the application guidelines for the chemical you are using.

Bedbugs can be steamed just like crabs! Steam is a great way to kill bedbugs if you can get a hold of a powerful enough steamer to do the job. The idea here is simple. Cook them suckers! Many pest control companies will use this method, some even have steam chambers for your mattress and box spring.

Mattress covers are also available to lock bedbugs either in or out of your mattress or box spring. Simply put - they can not get through the material. It has long been thought that if you have bedbugs there is no choice but to get rid of your bedding, but with these special covers you can save big!
